In August 04, Lucianne.com linked to Hugh's blog for background information on claims by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (here and here).
Hugh Hewitt? The author of Searching for God in America (of which he autographed 2 copies for me on 8/10/96)? Yes, that Hugh Hewitt. I started reading his blog regularly, then got hooked on his radio show. After that, I just had to buy and read his latest book, If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat: Crushing the Democrats in Every Election and Why Your Life Depends Upon It.
Hugh devotes Chapter 32 to the Blogosphere, and writes on page 172:
...you need to start your own if you wish to be an effective participant in the world of politics and in the cause of destroying the power of the Democratic Party.So here I am, working to change the world a little bit, one post at a time.
