More news on the Bush ANG story

AP has a new story on the wire tonight. An excerpt:

AP: Lawsuit Gets Bush Guard Papers Out

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush was ranked in the middle of his Air National Guard class and flew more than 336 hours in a fighter jet before letting his pilot status lapse and missing a key readiness drill, according to his flight records belatedly uncovered Tuesday under the Freedom of Information Act.



After reading the whole thing, my impression is that it provides raw material but no context as to whether Lt. Bush's conduct was within service norms. That's where Col. Campenni's letter to the Washington Times last February comes in handy.
